Notorious Bandit K!lled By Explosives Members Set!

 A notorious bandit leader in Zamfara State, Dogo Gudali, has been k!lled by an Improvised Explosive Device, IED, planted by members of his terrorist group.

A military source in the North West, who confirmed the incident to PRNigeria, said the IED was planted by terrorists to eliminate troops of Operation Hadarin Daji, who were on a clearance operation at the fringes of Gando Forest in Bukkuyum Local Government Area of the state. 

“The explosive was intended for troops, but detonated prematurely and k!lled the daredevil bandit leader, Dogo Gudali, and some of his fighters,” the source said.

“Dogo Gudali and his gang members have been terrorizing Anka, Gummi, Bukkuyum, and some parts of Sokoto and Kebbi States."

Monaco Suspends Coach Thierry Henry!

Monaco has released a statement on their coach Thierry Henry : "AS Monaco announces that it has decided to suspend first-team coach Thierry Henry. Franck Passi will train the professional group this Friday"

However, BBC correspondent David Ornstein has this to say :
 "Thierry Henry’s suspension as Monaco coach pending a final decision is merely procedural - he has been sacked and has left the club. A statement is expected from Henry in due course. His predecessor Leonardo Jardim is set to return - hearing deal has already been done"

When Thierry Henry was an analyst with SkySports, he was constantly criticising other coaches, telling them they know nothing about football.

Breaking!!! John Mikel Obi Joins Middlesbrough.

​​Nigerian international midfielder John Obi Mikel has joined Middlesbrough on a short-term deal. Middlesbrough are presently 5th on the Championship table, hoping that Mikel's presence will help their team to be promoted to the Premier League.

Mikel rose to prominence in an 11-year stint with Chelsea, making nearly 400 appearances for The Blues and winning a host of honours including two Premier League titles and the Champions League.

After captaining his country in the 2018 FIFA World Cup, the 31-year-old most recently plied his trade in the Far East with Tianjin TEDA. He returns to English football with Boro having been a free agent since the end of the Chinese Super League season in November.

Reports had linked Mikel with a host of European clubs including AS Roma and Wolfsburg as well as sides in the English top flight and the Championship, but the midfielder has opted to join The Teessiders in our bid for promotion.

Boro boss Tony Pulis was delighted to complete the signing of Mikel and he said: "I'm pleased to get him in. He is a man with a lot of experience and quality.

"He has a winning mentality and he wants to be here be a part of what we are looking to achieve."

Mikel becomes Boro's second addition of the January transfer window, following the arrival of Rajiv van La Parra on loan from Huddersfield earlier in the month. He will wear the number 2 shirt.
